Hockey Basics

Ready to play the fastest game on ice?  Reisterstown Sportsplex offers high quality ice hockey instruction for your son or daughter.  Each program is 8 weeks long and can be repeated at any time.  Completion of Hockey Basics will prepare your child for entry into organized youth hockey. 

 

Hockey Basics is for the aspiring hockey player ready to learn basic hockey skills.  It is designed to teach the fundamentals of Ice Hockey such as shooting, passing, stick-handling, and proper skating techniques.

• For ages 4 to Adult

• 8 week program only $110

• Sunday mornings    8-9am
• 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31

• Required equipment:  HECC certified helmet, skates, hockey gloves,

   pads, and stick

• 3 free public skating passes for each participant

Hockey Basics 2

Hockey Basics 2 is designed for the players who are ready to take their skills to the next level. This program teaches hockey stops, transitions, and moving passes, stick handling skills and much more. Players will be coached by a certified USA Hockey coaches and must have completed Hockey Basic and/or have approval from Basics coaching staff to enter the program.

• For ages 6 to 18

• 8 week program only $120

• Sunday mornings    8-9:30am

• 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31
• Full equipment required (including mouth guard)

• 3 free public skating passes for each participant
